The Private Pilot License (PPL) is the first license a pilot earns. It allows the holder to act as pilot in command of an aircraft privately. Obtaining a PPL is the fundamental step toward a career as an airline pilot. Whether it is for pure passion or to pursue an aviation career as a pilot, obtaining this license will allow you to fly aircraft throughout Europe, solo or with passengers, just for pleasure and thus without the possibility of remuneration.

The private pilot course (PPL) is divided into two parts.

THEORY

110 hours of class time

• Navigation
• Principles of flight
• Operating Procedures
• Flight performance and planning
• General aircraft knowledge

PRACTICE

• 45 total flight hours (10 hours is solo flight time supervised by a ground instructor)
